Samuel L. Jackson will star in Taylor Sheridan's series Frisco King, which premieres on Paramount+ on December 18.
New king arrives in Texas
Jackson reprises his role as Russell Lee Washington Jr., a New Orleans gangster who establishes a new kingdom in Frisco, Texas. The plot follows Lee as he recruits an ambitious protégé and transforms small hustles into big business while facing rising risks.
Cast includes Sylvester Stallone
The series features Asa Germann, Kai Caster, Lilah Pate and Savanna Gann alongside Jackson. Sylvester Stallone makes a special appearance and executive produces the show along with Sheridan and Jackson.
Premiere includes two episodes
The first week will air two episodes before new installments release weekly. Christina Alexandra Voros and Michael Friedman also serve as executive producers and direct four episodes of the series.
