Waititi compares critics to lost souls

The filmmaker shared the movie poster on social media while highlighting a large gap between audience and critic ratings. He stated that he has not read reviews aimed at him in nearly fifteen years. Waititi suggested that some critics are out of touch with current audiences.

Box office performance remains modest

The film opened in eight hundred eighty theaters across North America during its first weekend. It earned an estimated seven hundred twenty-five thousand dollars before debuting outside the top ten list. Worldwide gross totals approximately one point seven million dollars as of publication.

Story features android and sick girl

The plot follows an obsolete companion android who tries to bond with a young owner named Josie. Jenna Ortega plays the girl while Amy Adams stars in the production. The story is adapted from Kazuo Ishiguro's 2021 novel of the same name.
