He explained that he wanted to design a body like a jaguar rather than simply being big like Arnold Schwarzenegger. This desire for a feral and aggressive look eventually turned into a serious obsession.
Health issues arose during filming
The actor revealed that he developed bulimia while working on Rocky III because he could not keep food down. He noted that nobody achieves such low body fat without using additives and drugs. Stallone said he reached a point of 2.6 percent body fat while making the film.
