Obsession with body image

Stallone described his approach to fitness as an obsessive form of body worship. He aimed to design a physique that was feral and aggressive rather than smooth like Arnold Schwarzenegger. This mindset led him to reach 2.6 percent body fat while filming Rocky III.

Physical limits and drugs

The actor stated he could not keep food down at his lowest weight. He noted that maintaining such a shape for six months requires additives and drugs. Stallone emphasized that this process is not the same as being a junkie.
