Spotify has launched a new support program called Fresh Finds Forward for artists added to its playlists starting January 1, 2026.

Program resources and eligibility details

Eligible musicians can join via Spotify for Artists to receive up to 12 months of support. US-based artists qualify for free studio time at locations including Electric Lady Studios in New York City. Participants also gain early access to specific tools and features alongside mental health resources.

Mental health and software benefits

The initiative includes six months of free therapy provided through BetterHelp for qualifying creators. Artists receive a year-long subscription to Landr Studio Pro and Splice's Creator Plan. These tools are designed to help musicians capitalize on exposure from Fresh Finds playlists.

Playlist history and reach

Fresh Finds playlists have operated for more than a decade across 127 countries. Since 2024, these lists have driven over 128 million new artist discoveries globally. The program aims to assist roughly 10,000 independent artists each year.
