Sony Pictures has acquired North American and international distribution rights for the thriller The Surgeon directed by Roshan Sethi.

Michelle Yeoh stars as an expert surgeon who faces abduction in the plot. Martin Freeman, Laurie Davidson, Yuri Kolokolnikov, and Joseph Mydell also appear in the thriller. Executive producers include Theresa Page, Kim Szarzynski, and Patrick Wachsberger among others.
Distribution Negotiations
WME negotiated the deal on behalf of the filmmakers for this Toronto breakout project. Legendary company 193 handled the international sales rights separately from the North American agreement.
