Skydance adds Bobby Kotick and Laurene Powell Jobs to board
Skydance Corp announced on Tuesday that it has appointed Bobby Kotick and Laurene Powell Jobs as independent directors while bringing former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair on as an adviser.

The company confirmed that Bobby Kotick, founder of Activision, will serve as an independent director. Laurene Powell Jobs, who leads Emerson Collective, also joined the board in this capacity. Ynon Kreiz, the current co-CEO formerly of Mattel, is simultaneously joining the board structure.
Tony Blair Takes Advisory Role
Former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair will act as an adviser to the Skydance board. He stated that he is serving in this role on a personal basis. Blair currently holds the position of executive chairman at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change.
Leadership Structure Remains Stable
David Ellison continues to serve as both chairman and CEO of the merged entity. Ellison described the new appointments as bringing fresh perspectives to the organization. The board now includes representatives from major media and technology sectors.
