Condé Nast announced today that Roger Lynch is stepping down as chief executive to become the new CEO and chairman of Mattel.
Lynch moves to toy company
Mattel named Lynch as its next CEO and chairman on Wednesday morning. He succeeds Ynon Kreiz, who is leaving for a senior leadership position at another public company. Lynch will officially assume his new role with Mattel on or before November 2.
Interim leader takes charge
Mike Perlis, the lead independent director of Condé Nast, will serve as interim CEO during the search for a permanent replacement. Lynch has held his position at Condé Nast since joining the company in 2019.
