Actor RJ Mitte passed away before viewing the finished version of his movie Cassi after production issues delayed its completion.
Producer confirms rough cut viewed
Producer Josh Webber told TMZ that Mitte watched a rough cut of the film. He did not live to see the final product because he died before it was ready. Part of the filming for Cassi was completed in 2023.
Co-star shares tribute on social media
Aaron Paul paid tribute to Mitte on Instagram by sharing an old video about mental health. The actor wrote that his friend always had a smile on his face and faced challenges with grace. Paul expressed sorrow that they did not know more about the struggles Mitte was facing.
