Richard Harrison, an American actor famous for his roles in Italian genre films, has died at the age of 90 in Los Angeles.

Harrison began his professional life with small parts in Hollywood productions like Too Much, Too Soon before moving to Europe. He quickly became a leading man in sword-and-sandal movies such as The Invincible Gladiator and Avenger of the Seven Seas. His filmography also included the 1963 spaghetti Western Gunfight in the Red Sands which featured music by Ennio Morricone.
