Pink Floyd Animals 50th anniversary boxed set arrives January 2027
Sony Music will release a nine-disc deluxe boxed set of Pink Floyd's 1977 album Animals on January 22, 2027.
Deluxe box contents and formats
The collection features five CDs, three vinyl LPs, and a Blu-Ray disc. A digital version of the entire box is also available for purchase separately. The Blu-Ray component can be bought independently from the main package.
Previously unreleased studio tracks
The rarities disc includes one new song titled Young Nicholas Jon written by Roger Waters. Four other tracks on this disc are previously released versions or rough mixes. One of these is a radio edit of Sheep that had not appeared commercially before.
Separate vinyl and CD editions
Two-CD and two-LP editions pair the original album with a rarities disc. These slimmed-down formats are available in various configurations alongside the full boxed set.
