New corporate identity confirmed

Chairman and CEO David Ellison selected his original film production company name for the new conglomerate. The merger combines two major Hollywood studios along with their streaming services and television businesses. Trading will begin on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol SKYD.

Leadership structure changes

David Ellison will serve as chairman and CEO alongside co-CEO Ynon Kreiz. The former Mattel chief joins the company one day before trading starts on October 5. This leadership team will guide the combined entity through its transition.

Regulatory approval received

A judge approved a settlement with California and other states earlier this week. This decision cleared the last major hurdle blocking the acquisition. The companies now proceed to finalize the $110 billion transaction.
