Flamingo Estate founder Richard Christiansen met with Pamela Anderson in Los Angeles to discuss a potential pickle partnership.

Richard Christiansen was working in his Highland Park offices when Brandon Lee called about a collaboration. The son asked if his mother would be interested in working with the brand. Christiansen initially did not know who Brandon was referring to until he learned the name Pamela Anderson.
Existing celebrity partnerships
The company had previously created honey lines with Julianne Moore and LeBron James before this meeting. All of these celebrity partnerships benefit not-for-profits rather than paying the stars directly. Christiansen grew up on a bee farm in Australia and often takes hives to different locations.
Andersons specific proposal
During their first meeting, Christiansen pitched an idea for Anderson to create honey from her garden. Anderson rejected that suggestion and stated she wanted to make pickles instead. She described the idea matter-of-factly during the conversation.
