Orlando Jones takes over Papa Legba role after Lance Reddick death
Orlando Jones has assumed the role of Papa Legba in American Horror Story season 13 following the death of original actor Lance Reddick in 2023.
Jones steps into Reddick shoes
Jones describes taking over the part from his friend as no easy task. He expressed excitement about the challenge despite knowing how unique Reddick was to the franchise.
Character shifts to ally status
In this season, Papa Legba acts as an ally to the Coven rather than a neutral gatekeeper. The character now provides key information about Satan's plan and how to stop the end of the world.
Plot involves Ben arriving first
The story requires witches to find Satan's son before he accepts his throne. Episode 10 concludes with Ben arriving at the Coven's doorstep ahead of them.
