Netflix has ordered a second season of the drama series The Beast in Me, starring Claire Danes and Matthew Rhys.
Showrunner Howard Gordon signs new deal
Howard Gordon will serve as co-showrunner on the upcoming season alongside Daniel Pearle. He has also signed an overall television deal with Netflix to develop new series through his Teakwood Lane Productions banner. Gordon remains attached to the project after originally pitching it as a limited run.
Season one cast returns for renewal
Claire Danes will reprise her role as Aggie Wiggs in the new season. Matthew Rhys is set to return as Nile Jarvis, the real estate executive character from the first installment. The series originally aired in November 2025 and received Emmy nominations for its lead actors.
