Netflix is developing a new police helicopter action film called Helo with director Andrés Baiz attached to the project.

Edward Berger is producing the feature through his Nine Hours banner alongside partner Luke Rivett. Patrick Aison has been enlisted to write the script after bringing a fresh concept to executives. The project aims to explore the police helicopter angle which had not been seen since 1983.
