Netflix adds AI Discover tab to TV app with theme suggestions
Netflix is launching an AI-powered recommendation tool called AI Discover on its TV app that offers theme-based suggestions to help users find content.
New feature targets scrolling habits
The company introduced a new tab with a red gem icon in the top navigation bar. This interface displays an array of themes alongside relevant clips from shows or movies.
Themes adapt to viewer context
Suggestions consider factors like who is watching and what mood the user is in. Users can also select new and popular titles or refine choices based on recent viewing history.
Users control recommendation flow
Viewers may refresh the selection of themes served by the system at any time. The tool allows users to tell Netflix not to recommend a specific title again.
