Mr Robot creator Sam Esmail leaves CAA representation
Sam Esmail has departed Creative Artists Agency to seek new representation after working with the firm since 2015.
Current agency status unclear
Sources indicate the writer-director is now searching for a new agency. It remains unclear why he ended his long-term relationship with CAA.
Film release dates delayed
His latest feature, Panic Carefully, had its theatrical release pushed from February 2027 to April 2027. Production on the movie wrapped a year and a half ago.
Previous manager and lawyer retained
Esmail continues to work with his managers at Anonymous Content and his lawyer at McKuin Frankel. He previously represented ICM before his career took off with the USA Network series Mr Robot.
