Meta unveils Imax certified VR glasses at Menlo Park headquarters

First Imax certified device
The new Meta VR Glasses are the first virtual reality device to receive Imax Enhanced certification. Sarah Malkin, head of entertainment for Meta's Reality Labs, said the company does not want to disrupt the current theatrical experience. Consumers who missed films like The Odyssey or Avatar in theaters will be able to view them at home.
