Promoter confirms concert cancellation

Say Agency posted a message on Telegram stating the shows would not take place. The Moscow-based promoter expressed regret but did not say if dates would move. They thanked supporters for their help during the previous month and a half.

Arena denies booking responsibility

Gazprom Arena previously announced that no contract had been signed for the events. Management stated they were not responsible for the booking after tickets sold out. The venue initially offered an enthusiastic endorsement of West before changing its tone.

Political pressure cited by media

Reports indicate foreign ministry officials and political figures spoke out about West's history. This activity occurred as the promotion of the shows began to dwindle. The cancellation follows weeks of back-and-forth between the promoter and the stadium.
