Julia Stiles reunites with 10 Things I Hate About You cast to honor Heath Ledger
Julia Stiles and her Dancing With the Stars partner performed a tribute to Heath Ledger on Tuesday night alongside former co-stars from the 1999 film.
Emotional dance performance
Stiles and partner Ezra Sosa danced to Frankie Valli during Dedication Night of the ABC show. The routine included moves associated with Ledger and featured Stiles wearing a blue dress similar to her character in the movie. She described seeing herself in that outfit as trippy after many years.
Cast members join stage
After Stiles placed a flower on the floor, other actors from the film appeared on the ballroom stage. The group included Andrew Keegan, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Larisa Oleynik, Gabrielle Union and Susan May Pratt. They gathered to support the tribute following the initial dance number.
Actress reflects on memories
Stiles told Variety that hearing voices from the film brought back many memories during rehearsals. She noted that she started crying while practicing before going on stage for the live broadcast. The actress expressed gratitude that fans remain interested in the movie decades later.
