Early access review from musician

Batiste told Variety he played the title before its general public release. He stated that the game contains welcome surprises but remains fundamentally similar to the original version. The interview took place at a Nintendo store in New York.

Game runs on new console

The remake is built exclusively for the Nintendo Switch 2 system. It features the same plot where Link protects Hyrule from Ganondorf. This narrative follows the story originally released for the Nintendo 64 in 1998.
