Jessica Lange returns to American Horror Story with four old roles and a new mystery character
Jessica Lange announced her return to American Horror Story Season 13 on Good Morning America on Tuesday.
Reprising previous characters
Lange will reprise four roles she played in earlier seasons of the anthology series. She is returning as Constance Langdon, Sister Jude Martin, Fiona Goode, and Elsa Mars. The actress noted that Constance appears throughout the entire season while she was most excited to play Elsa again.
New mystery role
The star confirmed she is also debuting a fifth character for this upcoming season. She stated she would not spoil the identity of this new role during the interview. Lange suggested that fans might be able to deduce who the character is.
Musical performance tease
Lange joked about having to plead for permission to perform a musical number in the show. She implied the character singing would not be strong enough to win her a Grammy. The actress hinted she might find another way to complete her EGOT status.
