Original cast members return
Creator Lena Dunham will reprise her role as Hannah Horvath alongside Allison Williams, Jemima Kirke, and Zosia Mamet. Andrew Rannells is also set to return to the show in his existing role. The series originally aired on HBO from 2012 until 2017 before this new limited run.
Production timeline confirmed
Filming for the revival will start a decade after the final episode of the sixth season concluded. Judd Apatow returns as an executive producer for the project alongside Dunham and other producers. Story details regarding the specific plot remain under wraps for now.
