Cheeks expands current portfolio

The last surviving Paramount Global co-CEO will add Warner Bros. TV studios and Paramount TV studios to his existing responsibilities. He currently oversees the CBS Studios portfolio and Paramount's linear TV channels. This change occurs when the merger agreement between the two companies finalizes.

Company seeks stability and cash

Cheeks aims for stability while the combined entity expects wide cuts across the organization. The company plans to harvest revenue from carriage fees to redistribute funds toward streaming priorities and debt repayment. Reports indicate that affiliate agreements for specific cable channels must be negotiated separately under a consent decree.
