Ruth Jones celebrated her 60th birthday with former Gavin and Stacey co-stars at the Porthcawl and Kenfig Hill RAFA Club on Saturday.
James Corden served drinks
James Corden helped behind the bar pouring beers during the private gathering. He also co-wrote the television series that starred Jones alongside Rob Brydon.
Castmates performed a duet
Jones and Corden reunited on stage to sing Islands in the Stream together. Other attendees included Melanie Walters, Alison Steadman, and Steve Speirs.
Venue chosen for family ties
Sarah Prescott noted that Jones selected the location because her parents were long-standing members. The steward added that Jones had her first guitar lesson at the club as a child.
