Game of Thrones movie Aegon’s Conquest set for June 2029 release
Warner Bros has scheduled the first Game of Thrones feature film, titled Aegon's Conquest, for a theatrical release in June 2029.
Production team and director confirmed
Owen Harris will direct the project from a screenplay written by Beau Willimon. The film adapts George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire book series.
Plot focuses on early history
The story centers on King Aegon I Targaryen and his conquest of Westeros. This narrative takes place centuries before the original television series aired.
