Family dispute erupts over George Michael memorabilia auction including Faith guitar
Siobhan Bailey's estranged husband is selling her late brother-in-law's personal assistant collection at an auction on Thursday.

Auction details and contested ownership
Sworders auction house is offering 32 lots from the collection of Siobhan Bailey. The estate was inherited by Ian Belcher after Bailey died in 2014 without a registered will. Gerard Bailey, her brother, states she intended to leave the items to her nieces and nephews.
Specific items up for sale
The lot list includes the guitar used by George Michael in his Faith music video. Other memorabilia from the singer-songwriter's career are also being sold to the highest bidder. Sworders describes the group as a remarkable collection from a trusted confidante.
Responses from involved parties
Gerard Bailey told the BBC that selling these possessions would horrify his sister. Both Sworders and Ian Belcher have declined to comment on the family row. The singer died in 2016 after achieving solo success following his time with Wham.
