Injury led to conflict on set

Dane was filming a guest appearance for the show while suffering from a herniated disc in his neck. He asked Duhamel to avoid grabbing him by the tie during a specific fight scene, but the lead actor ignored the request. The director called action and Duhamel pulled on the tie despite the warning.

Dane confronted the lead actor

After two takes where the tie was grabbed again, Dane warned a producer to rein in his co-star. On the third take, Duhamel grabbed the tie once more, prompting Dane to remove his suit coat and approach him aggressively. Dane stated he came at Duhamel while the camera kept rolling without anyone calling cut.

Duhamel apologized for the incident

Following the confrontation, Duhamel apologized for not listening to the request about the tie. He explained that he had gotten caught up in the moment during the scene. Dane noted that the incident was not his proudest moment on the set.
