Donald Trump attacks Bill Maher in lengthy social media post
President Donald Trump posted a scathing message on Truth Social Sunday criticizing comedian Bill Maher and their recent White House meeting.
Trump criticizes show ratings
The president described the HBO program as having low ratings compared to its past quality. He stated that the network is no longer hot or exciting in his view. Trump also claimed Maher wanted him as a guest but would never happen.
Comments on recent dinner
Trump alleged that Maher was drinking while touring the White House during their second meeting. He said the event lasted only two hours instead of four and felt like a waste of time. The president blamed Chuck LaBella for arranging the sit-down with Kid Rock involved.
References to past work
The post mentioned that LaBella worked as a gofer on Trump's reality show The Apprentice. Trump noted that LaBella called him nonstop to arrange the dinner events. He characterized Maher as a goofball and a major pothead in the message.
