Smith Takes Charge Of Streaming Business

Joe Earley will move from co-president to lead the television franchise and content strategy. This new structure places all direct-to-consumer efforts under one executive instead of multiple leaders. Dana Walden stated that Smith has built a world-class team over the past two years.

Leadership Changes Affect Senior Roles

Earley will now report to Deb OConnell in his new position. The previous setup had executives reporting up to Walden and Alan Bergman separately. Smith previously led YouTube Premium and YouTube Music before joining Disney two years ago.
