Dirty Dancing: The Musical will open a limited engagement at the Lena Horne Theatre in New York from February 12, 2027 through September 5, 2027.

Annalese Starzec stars as Frances Houseman while Blake Zelesnikar plays Johnny Castle. The production features a new book by Eleanor Bergstein and direction from Lonny Price. Choreography is handled by Darrell Grand Moultrie.
Tour History Before Broadway
The national tour launched in St Paul, Minnesota, in August of this year. It will visit Detroit, West Palm Beach, Boston and Toronto before the New York dates. The show will resume its national run after the Broadway engagement concludes.
Production Company Plans
Lionsgate is producing the musical adaptation of the 1987 film. The studio is also developing a sequel to the movie and adapting La La Land for the stage.
