Delvene Delaney returns to Kakadu for Crocodile Dundee anniversary
Actress and producer Delvene Delaney has returned to Kakadu National Park to mark the 40th anniversary of the film Crocodile Dundee.
Restored safari truck arrives
The original safari truck from the first movie has been restored after being taken to a regional film festival in western Queensland earlier this year. Delvene Delaney drove the vehicle during her visit and noted that the kookaburras there are smaller than those at home.
Memories of late husband
Delaney said the sound of the birds serves as a welcome reminder of her late husband, John Cornell, who passed away five years ago. She expressed that she kept thinking about him while being back in the area where they worked together.
Paul Hogan connection
Australian actor Paul Hogan starred as Mick Dundee in the 1986 film and was pictured with Delaney and John Cornell in 1975. Linda Kozlowski also appeared alongside Hogan in the production that featured the protagonist Mick Dundee.
