Comedian Dave Chappelle has announced a series of arena shows in the United States and Canada this fall, concluding with a headlining performance at the opening night of the New York Comedy Festival on November 6.

The seven-city run begins on October 20 at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena. Stops include Charlotte, Toronto, Louisville, Austin, and Houston before the final date in New York. Each show is scheduled to take place inside a major arena venue.

All performances will operate as phone-free experiences where devices are stored away in Yondr pouches. This policy applies to every stop on the seven-city stretch of dates. The comedian returns to the road shortly after his summer season concluded earlier this year.

Caroline Hirsch, founder and owner of the New York Comedy Festival, called the booking a highlight of the lineup. The festival will run for ten days starting on November 6 with Chappelle headlining the first night. General ticket sales are set to begin on September 17.
