Chris Brown receives suspended sentence for club attack in London
Chris Brown was sentenced to an eight-month suspended term at Southwark Crown Court on Monday for striking a man with a bottle at a London club in February 2023.

Court sentencing details confirmed
The singer admitted affray after hitting Abraham Diaw twice in the head and twice more on his shoulder. His vocal coach Omololu Akinlolu received a four-month suspended sentence for joining the attack. Both men were ordered to pay £1,500 in costs at the hearing.
Judge warns about danger
Judge Baumgartner described the repeated use of a glass bottle aimed at the head as plainly dangerous. The prosecutor noted the bottle was heavy and square-shaped during the incident on the dancefloor. Commercial success does not attract preferential treatment in court according to the judge.
