Lionsgate has greenlit the horror feature Portrait of God starring Chase Infiniti, with production set to begin after acquiring rights from Universal.

Production team includes major names
Sam Raimi and Jordan Peele are attached as producers for this project. This marks the first time these two filmmakers have collaborated together. Joe Russo co-wrote the screenplay with director Dylan Clark.
Director makes feature debut
Dylan Clark will direct his first feature film with Portrait of God. He previously released a short film of the same name in 2022 that gained millions of views online. Lionsgate also tapped Clark to direct an upcoming untitled Blair Witch movie.
Previous studio rights history
The project was originally set up at Universal before the studio let it go earlier this year. Lionsgate moved in to greenlight the film after acquiring those rights. Chase Infiniti chose this role following her breakout performance in One Battle After Another.
