Charli xcx performs Boom Clap with Chappell Roan in Los Angeles
Charli xcx invited guest singer Chappell Roan to perform her 2014 hit Boom Clap during a concert at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on Saturday night.
Special request for old song
Charli xcx usually focuses on current material but made an exception for this performance. She explained that a friend agreed to sing only if it was her specific track. Chappell Roan joined her onstage to deliver the song after receiving this invitation.
Other musical guests appear
PinkPantheress later performed Stateside during the same evening show. The Dare also appeared for an extended version of Guess with underwear shot into the crowd. These acts followed the main collaboration between Charli xcx and Chappell Roan.
Upcoming festival dates announced
Chappell Roan will headline a two-day festival called Super Graphic Spectacular next weekend in Los Angeles. Her North American arena tour supports the album Music Fashion Film and includes stops in Philadelphia and Brooklyn. The tour launched on Sept 11 and continues through Las Vegas.
