Casey Bloys set to lead merged Paramount and Warner Bros streaming

Holland confirms exit from role
Cindy Holland sent a memo to staff confirming she will leave her position running Paramount+ and other direct-to-consumer streamers. She stated that CEO David Ellison made the decision regarding streaming leadership after discussions about the future of combined businesses. Holland said today marks her last day at the company.
Bloys expected to take charge
Casey Bloys is poised to oversee all streaming operations for the merged entity once the deal finalizes. The Variety report notes speculation that Bloys, a near 25-year veteran of HBO, will assume this top role. He has previously managed the brand through three massive corporate takeovers in eight years.
Leadership transition ahead of merger
The leadership shuffle occurs days before the closing of Paramount Skydance's acquisition of Warner Bros Discovery. Reports indicate JB Perrette may also join the new structure to head streaming business operations and gaming for WBD.
