Cary Joji Fukunaga and Sine Plambech Lead Zurich Film Festival Juries

The Zurich Film Festival has announced that Cary Joji Fukunaga will head the feature film jury while Sine Plambech leads the documentary competition jury.

Feature Film Competition Jury Members

Fukunaga, known for directing No Time to Die, will preside over a panel of fourteen films. His fellow jurors include Swiss-French actress Ella Rumpf and Mexican director Fernando Eimbcke. The competition section awards the Golden Eye prize along with a cash sum of CHF 25,000.

Documentary Competition Jury Composition

Plambech will serve as president for the documentary jury which also contains fourteen entries. Joining her are Spanish cinematographer Alfredo de Juan and Norwegian producer Anne Köhncke. Her debut film Heartbound previously won the Golden Eye at this festival in 2018.

Festival Prize and Film Count

Both the feature and documentary sections present fourteen films each for consideration by their respective juries. The top prize for the feature competition is the Golden Eye trophy accompanied by the monetary award. Selected titles in the feature category include Black Church Bay and A Girl Unknown.
