Carmen Machi receives 2026 National Film Prize at San Sebastian Festival

Award details and prize money

The Spanish Ministry of Culture launched this honor in 1980 to recognize distinguished contributions to cinema. The award comes with a monetary prize of 30,000 euros. Previous recipients include Oscar winners Penélope Cruz and Javier Bardem.
