Netflix and Skydance Animation have released the official trailer for Brad Bird's animated sci-fi film Ray Gunn, starring Sam Rockwell and Scarlett Johansson.

The story follows private investigator Raymond Gunn as he works with his alien colleague Eyera. They investigate a scandal involving pop star Venus Nova that threatens her career and life. The setting is Metropia, a futuristic city populated by humans and aliens.
Release schedule and format
The film will have a limited theatrical run in 70mm starting on December 4. Its global streaming debut on Netflix is scheduled for December 18. This release plan applies to the animated feature produced by Bird.
