Bobby Kotick and Laurene Powell Jobs join Skydance board

Skydance announced that Bobby Kotick and Laurene Powell Jobs have joined its board of directors following the company's formation on Tuesday.

New board members confirmed

David Ellison secured two high-profile additions to the board through a securities filing. Investor and philanthropist Laurene Powell joins alongside former Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick. Former U.K. Prime Minister Tony Blair will serve as a board adviser instead of joining the directors.

Company formation context

The new entertainment company was established during Paramount's acquisition of Warner Bros Discovery. Ellison stated he is delighted to welcome Laurene and Bobby to the group. He described Tony Blair as an honored addition who will join as an Advisor.
