Partnership focuses on new comic universe

The collaboration begins with the adaptation of Exquisite Corpses, a serial killer battle royale created by Tynion and artist Michael Walsh. This title will be developed across both film and animation formats. The project joins existing efforts between the two companies to expand their horror content library.

Previous successful collaboration continues

Blumhouse Atomic and Tiny Onion are currently developing a movie adaptation of Something Is Killing the Children. Craig Zobel has recently joined the project as the director for that film. Jason Blum stated that Tynion is a valued partner due to his storytelling instincts within the horror genre.

Tynion expresses excitement about move

James Tynion described the experience of entering the Blumhouse offices as feeling like coming home. He noted that every filmmaker on the roster is dedicated to making great horror stories. The partnership allows him to help bring terrifying narratives to life alongside his new collaborators.
