Bleecker Street appoints Frank Martinez as head of distribution
Bleecker Street has named Frank Martinez as its new head of distribution effective immediately.

Martinez joins from A24
Frank Martinez moves to the film company after three years at A24. He previously served as head of theatrical sales for that studio. Kent Sanderson, the CEO, welcomed him to lead distribution strategies.
Box office growth record
Under his guidance, annual box office revenue rose from 151 million in 2023 to over 333 million by 2026. This increase followed releases including Backrooms and The Drama. Martinez will oversee execution across both Bleecker Street and Crosswalk slates.
Previous work history
Before A24, he worked as executive director of domestic distribution at Paramount Pictures. There he contributed to the release of Top Gun: Maverick. He now aims to connect great films with audiences.
