Anne Hathaway will not appear on the Hot Ones series during her Verity press tour because her doctor warned spicy food could trigger early labor.
Doctor ordered dietary restriction
Hathaway explained that she initially planned to do the interview while eating real wings before switching to dummy versions. Her physician advised against the challenge because the spice might cause her to go into labor prematurely. She stated she is unsure when she will be able to take on the gauntlet.
Current press tour schedule
The actress has already completed solo podcast appearances and joint interviews with co-stars Dakota Johnson and Josh Hartnett. This appearance marks her fifth and final press event for the film Verity this year. She has traveled globally for dozens of red carpet events while pregnant.
