Former Dance Moms stars Abby Lee Miller and Cathy Nesbitt will judge a new shortform reality series debuting on ShortVydz in October.
New platform launches original shows
The series Abby vs. Cathy: Hit the 8 is one of two original programs launching on the mobile-first streaming service ShortVydz. Both titles become available to viewers on October 27 through the website and dedicated application. This project marks the first original content offered by the new platform.
Dance competition features rival judges
Miller and Nesbitt will serve as the sole judging panel for a single-elimination dance bracket involving 128 participants. The competitors are dancers aged eight to sixteen who face off across seven rounds without a host. One final dancer receives the title of winner and a cash prize of $10,000.
Second show follows reality star
The other debut series tracks former Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry during her international Fatherless Behavior tour. Viewers will see behind-the-scenes footage of hotel room chaos and business decisions made while seven children wait at home.
