Game launches after long wait

The title hit Steam Early Access in August this year. Development of the project began in 2011 before it was officially revealed during 2026's Summer Games Fest.

Director discusses development history

Patrice Désilets, who directed Assassin's Creed 1 and Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, led the creation. He described the project as a long journey that started with an inspiration trip to Amsterdam in 2011.

Setting and gameplay features

The story takes place in Amsterdam and involves sorcery and witchcraft themes. Players control hooded characters who move across rooftops and canals while facing soldier-ridden streets.
