Initial applications received by board

Eleven expressions of interest arrived for acquiring between 51 percent and 100 percent shareholding along with management control. The Financial Adviser evaluated these submissions against the approved prequalification criteria before making a recommendation.

Turkish firms join local groups

The final list includes three Turkish energy companies alongside Engro Energy Limited and other Pakistani business consortia. These nine entities will now access the Virtual Data Room for detailed buy-side due diligence.

Two parties failed to qualify

K-Electric withdrew its expression of interest through written intimation while Al Sharif Contracting could not provide required documents. The remaining nine parties move forward under the approved process for the transaction.
