Pakistan textile exports rise 5.55 percent in July-August 2026
The Pakistan Bureau of Statistics reported that textile exports increased by 5.55 percent during July and August of the current financial year 2026-27.

Total export value growth
Exports reached US $3.379 billion compared to US $3.202 billion in the same period last year. Cotton yarn led the increase with a jump of 34.80 percent to reach US $160.679 million.
Specific commodity performance
Knitwear exports grew by 4.79 percent while ready-made garments rose by 13.59 percent during the review period. Towels and made-up articles also recorded positive growth figures of 6.74 percent and 6.95 percent respectively.
Declining textile categories
Cotton cloth exports fell by 7.66 percent to US $276.255 million according to the released data. Other textile materials saw a smaller increase of 3.91 percent in this two-month window.
