Pakistan Sugar Mills Association elects new leadership team unopposed
The Pakistan Sugar Mills Association announced its newly elected office-bearers at an annual general meeting in Lahore on Wednesday.
Elected officials and executive committee
Asim Ghani Usman was chosen as chairman while Muhammad Rafique took the role of senior vice chairman. Aslam Farooq and Khan Muhammad Ashraf were elected to lead the South and North zones respectively. Members of the executive committee were also selected for their respective zones during the proceedings.
Outgoing chairman presents annual report
Chaudhry Zaka Ashraf delivered the annual report and identified deregulation as the primary solution to current industry challenges. He extended his best wishes to the new leadership team before concluding his tenure.
